Frank Grillo confirms DC role & doesn’t see a Marvel return! Report confirms the actor will be voicing Rick Flag Sr. in Creature Commandos!
Actor Frank Grillo has confirmed that he will be playing the role of Rick Flag Sr. in DC’s upcoming animated series Creature Commandos. Grillo is moving to DC, and he doesn’t see a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he played Crossbones.
In an interview with Collider, Grillo praised the Creature Commandos script as “fantastic” and expressed his excitement to work with creator James Gunn again. Creature Commandos is part of the new DC Universe created by Gunn and producer Peter Safran, who are overseeing all of the upcoming DC projects.
Liv Tyler shows up in Atlanta to appear in Captain America: New World Order! A funeral is imminent but who dies? Thunderbolt Ross or Isaiah Bradley?
Actress Liv Tyler (The Incredible Hulk) appeared in Atlanta and set the fandom in a frenzy. It was a surprise for most, but an automatic correlation to the fact that her role in The MCU has a direct connection to the currently filming Captain America production. Not even 48 hours later we have images of Liv in a funeral scene! We cannot see the scale of the funeral but with “Betty Ross” in attendance we have to consider that it may be her father’s (Thunderbolt Ross) apparent going away. The other soldiers in the scene leave the possibility open that Isaiah Bradley or Joaquin Torres could have died; or maybe even all 3 characters! We know that Red Hulk will appear at some point so Ross could have faked his death to permanently assume his new identity. It’s amazing how an actress we haven’t seen in “forever” could signify so much for the Marvel Studios canon! Tell us what you think!

The Punisher is scripted to denounce the January 6 United States Capitol attackers that wore his symbol in Daredevil: Born Again!
The Punisher is a complex and controversial character, known for his brutal tactics in the pursuit of justice. However, his creators and current writers have been vocal in denouncing the misuse of his symbol by individuals who took part in the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. In an upcoming storyline in the Daredevil: Born Again series, The Punisher will reaffirm his stance on justice and condemn acts of violence, making it clear that those who seek to use his symbol for nefarious purposes do not represent his values. This storyline underscores the responsibility that comes with using popular culture symbols in the real world.

Quantumania tag scenes hint to Kang’s major defeats by Immortus, Fantastic Four & The Avengers before The Kang Dynasty.
Immortus/Council of Kangs: Marvel Studios has been “canon sensitive” to Kang’s storyline; even showing a live action Council of Kangs straight out of Avengers #292 (1988) in Quantumania! The triad of Kang’s defeats, implied and shown in this film, are setting The Conqueror up for a multiversal comeback “on a scale hitherto undreamt of”! In the name of comics, of course!
